Roots was born from a straightforward concept and the determination to achieve it. In 1973, Michael Budman and Don Green established Roots, driven by their love for Ontario’s Algonquin Park and its significance to them. Beginning in Toronto with footwear, Roots expanded to offer quality leather bags, jackets, accessories, their iconic salt & pepper sweats, clothing made from natural fibers, and home furnishings. Our leather items have consistently been crafted in Canada at our dedicated facility in Toronto.
